Kim Cummings is NAAAP-DFW’s President.    A military brat, Kim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea.  After graduating from Seoul American High School, Kim moved to Texas to pursue a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Southwest Texas State University.  Upon graduation, Kim went on to pursue her Master’s in Human Resource Development and Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin and later received her Senior Professional designation in Human Resources. Kim is a professional member of the local Dallas and National Society of Human Resource Management.   Kim has spent over 16 years encouraging and promoting employee engagement. Kim credits her family, life-long friends and overseas experiences for keeping her grounded and motivated.   Those around her inspire her to love and have passion for driving people to succeed in their personal and professional endeavors.

Kim believes that everyone you meet will make a difference in your life.  She strongly holds firm that experiences are learning’s that must be shared and that everyone should make an effort to learn about different cultures and allow for a safe place to explore other aspects of diversity.  Have the courage to explore and share with other Asian professionals….join NAAAP-DFW!.
