Thear is a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP in Advisory Services, based in Dallas, Texas.  She has more than 16 years of experience leading and delivering large and complex IT Transformation programs.  Thear leads Ernst & Young’s IT Transformation Practice for the Southwest Region.  She provides advisory services to Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries, including Financial Services, Health, Public Service, Consumer Products, and Telecommunications and High-Tech.

Thear has been selected to participate in Ernst & Young’s Americas Leadership Agenda Program, a multiyear investment for the development of the next generation of senior leaders.  Thear serves on the  Americas Advisory Women’s Steering Committee, a task force focused on the retention and advancement of women to the partnership level.  Thear also serves as an Executive Sponsor for the Dallas Pan-Asian Professional Network.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Thear led Accenture’s US Advanced Systems Delivery Practice, an organization of over 500 technologists focused on technology delivery.

In the community, Thear serves on the Dallas Women’s Foundation Board of the Directors, the Back On My Feet Dallas Chapter Advisory Board, SMU’s James E. Caswell Undergraduate Leadership Fellows Program Steering Committee, and the NAAAP-DFW Senior Advisory Council.

Thear has been recognized in Forbeswomen.com, Working Mother’s Magazine, The Little PINK Book, Diversity Inc., and in a book by Anne Doyle called Powering Up! How America’s Women Achievers Become Leaders.  

Thear lives in Plano, Texas with her husband Eric and their four sons ages 10, 9, 6, and 3.
