The National Association of Asian American Professionals is a non-profit professional organization that promotes the career advancement and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all fields through networking, respecting Asian multiculturalism, and supporting diversity and community service. There are currently over 25 chapters, ventures, and affiliates across the United States and Canada and a growing North American membership of over 3,000.  The Financial Literacy Movement Professional Development Event

 We’re well into the new year, but have you been able to keep your New Year’s resolutions? Many people promise to shed a few pounds. Others pledge to finally take charge of their finances. But how?


Most of us know the basics: don’t spend more than you make and pay your bills on time. However, there’s so much more to becoming financially independent in the immediate future and long down the road.

In our next event, Karin McIntosh of Lighthouse Financial Group will be discuss topics including setting goals, budgeting, debt, asset protection, asset accumulation and accountability. Whether you’re fresh out of college or a seasoned professional it’s important to have a real discussion about your financial situation.

Light appetizers will be provided.

Where: Woodfire by Kirby's | 3525 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206
When: April 16th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Price: Free for members, $10 for guests
Dress: Business Casual
