NAAAP-DFW, CleanUp USA Volunteer Event
When: December 13th, 10AM – 12PM
Where: 1901 Hall Johnson Rd, Grapevine, TX
Details: Join NAAAP DFW as we partner with Clean Up USA for a heartwarming volunteer event at Fellowship of the Parks. This season, we’ll come together to package gift bags for children, helping spread joy and encouragement to families in our community.
Volunteers will help assemble and organize gift bags filled with essentials and fun surprises, ensuring each one is made with care. All materials will be provided—just bring your holiday spirit, compassion, and willingness to help make a child’s season a little brighter.
This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, meet fellow NAAAP DFW members, and make a meaningful impact during the holidays. We hope you’ll join us for this special day of service and community connection.

In Person Class – Japanese Ramen
When: December 26, 2025 6:30PM
Where: 1001 North Riverfront Boulevard, Dallas, TX
Details: Escape to the streets of Tokyo as we create this infamous classic dish, Japanese Ramen! This class is perfect for anyone who enjoys Asian flavors and wants to learn more about how to recreate these flavors and techniques at home!
In this fun, hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in recreating this popular noodle soup dish, renowned for its rich broth, abundance of noodles and endless toppings! You will firstly be trained in some foundational knife skills used to chop all of your fresh ingredients. You will then learn how to balance flavors to create your Ramen broth and the addition of various vegetables. You will have the choice to make a Shio Ramen with chicken broth, grilled teriyaki chicken, and vegetables or Yasai Shoyu Veggie Ramen using a veggie broth and vegetables.
Cook your noodles and add all the extras that make this deliciously authentic dish! Once you have created your Ramen sensations, you can have fun customizing your bowl with a variety of traditional garnishes and toppings before enjoying your creation with your new found foodie friends!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, but will be available for sale at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+
In Person Class – Asian Dumplings
When: December 28th 3PM – 5PM
Where: 1301 Pace Street, Dallas, TX 75207
Details: Discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings!
In this hands-on and interactive class, you will be guided step-by-step through refining your knife skills, making dumpling fillings and learning the art of folding your dumpling wrappers into a Japanese traditional dumpling shape: gyoza. Once you have mastered the process of shaping your dumpling, enjoy your delicious beef and vegetable dumplings with dipping sauces.
You will also learn the process for steaming and pan frying your dumplings. Once you have created your masterpieces, you will then plate and enjoy eating your creations with your new found foodie friends!
